Introduction |
A two day overview class covering the basics of Lean in an office/service environment and Business Process Value Stream Mapping (including how to design good future state maps based on 8 lean design guidelines). We teach and create an understanding of the challenges in service and administration from a lean point of view and how to deal with these. The last part of the training will be spent on Lean culture and Lean leadership.
What can I do with this training?
After this training a manager/executive will have a deeper understanding of what Lean really is and what not. He or she will be able to ask the right questions during a lean implementation and know how to support the culture change from a lean leadership perspective.

Modules |
Day 1
- Introduction of lean in service and administrative environments To understand the challenges in service and administration from a lean point of view.
- Business process Value Stream Mapping .
- How to design BP future state maps based on 8 lean BP design guidelines Introduce Takt, flow, heijunka, work flow cycles, how to deal with changing demand.
Day 2
- Additional BP tools: Self recording, Work Sampling, Variable Factor Programming.
- Explore the Lean implications for management, leadership, and cultural change. To show what type of leadership is needed to be successful.
